The Great Resignation has caused concern and frustration, when the energy and efforts are focused on finding new talent, retaining those in place is even more beneficial to your bottom line. Simple math highlights the cost to hire, train and integrate a new team member is significantly less than retaining the current members. The additional stress placed on the remaining employees increases the chance of chronic stress and burnout.

According to Gallup only 34% of US employees are productive, engaged and inspired in 2021.

Manage expectations with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.

Define opportunities for career growth ... Know what direction and employee wants to grow with with a check in every quarter. Time consuming in a large organization, yes, but an investment of time saves an output of cash replacing a good employee with goals and ambitions.

My wise father always said, investing in is cheaper than buying new. Admittedly, he was referring to a car, but for this time I think it is equally as applicable too.
